March, 2017 – Inspection Masters Customers/ Partners Give Company High Praises!

April 7th, 2017

After capturing an estimated 97% of the Pecan sorting market and a substantial share of the Macadamia sorting market world-wide, Inspection Masters is setting new sales records in the California Walnut Market and its customer/partners are giving the company High Praises! Here’s what a few of them are saying:

Vink Brothers, Peter Vink, Tracy, CA (January, 2016)
“Using the WHS sorter we were able to eliminate 6 pickers and speed up our hulling line by half.”

Cooper Out West, Bob Molloy, Linden, CA (December, 2016)
“The WHS sorter reduced my labor by 2/3rds and made our hulling line more efficient. And the service was above and beyond. I highly recommend the Inspection Masters sorter.”

Gold River Orchards, Don Barton, President & CEO, Escalon, CA (January, 2017)
“We purchased an Inspection Masters WS-12,000/DS+ sorter for our walnut shelling line and installed it for the beginning of the 2016-17 walnut crop. Our objective was to pre-sort orchard wood and rocks which would often stop our shellers, requiring labor and creating non-productive downtime on the line. The inspection Masters sorter has reduced downtime by more than 90%. We could not be happier with the product and the great customer service.”

Sutter Foods, Rikki Bhatti, Yuba City, CA (January, 2017)
“The WIS-25K In-shell Line Sorter helped us to process large volumes of walnuts more efficiently. The unique 360-degree view sees the entire nut which allowed us to meet and exceed high quality standards with less people saving us labor dollars just as the WHS-30T huller sorter does. It was easy to operate and the service was exceptional.”

We invite you to join the Inspection Master’s Family of satisfied customer/partners!

December, 2016 – WIS-25K Walnut In-Shell Sorter: 360 Degree View of Nut Raises the Walnut Sorting Bar!

January 17th, 2017

For years Inspection Masters has offered State of the Art, NASA inspired, Technology in its line of In-Shell sorters for the Walnut Industry which catered mainly to mid to smaller processors. Now, IM has successfully raised the bar by demonstrating its new high capacity, 25,000 pounds per hour, WIS-25K Walnut In-Shell Line Sorter. The WIS-25K is an Industry First and views all sides of the nut, 360-degree view, via a “Rolling Cup” system to effectively evaluate and sort Walnuts in an In-Shell line. “Walnut processors told us that they would like to see a high-volume throughput In-Shell sorter that could view the entire nut to be able to eject as many defects as possible and reduce labor. The WIS-25K is our answer to this industry problem. We will bring the WIS-25K to market in 2017”, said IM President/CEO Roger Holt. Look at this video of the WIS-25K in operation at Sutter Foods in Yuba City, CA during the 2016 season.

June 13, 2016 – Inspection Masters developing an Intelligent Weed Sprayer System

October 18th, 2016

Most weed spraying systems “carpet” spray the orchard floor even if weeds are not present everywhere. This method wastes herbicide product and puts more chemical in the field than is necessary. Sometimes scattered resistant weeds need a higher concentration of herbicide but the farmer cannot afford to carpet spray a high concentration.

Inspection Masters is developing an intelligent sensor that mounts on a spray boom to only spray when there is a weed present. This video shows the capability of our initial prototype.

At another larger plant, the owner said they were able to reduce their picking labor from 16 last year to 2 persons this year as a result of our sorter.
